Twin Lakes Community Association
The questions and answers below are the most frequent ones asked of us. If you don’t see an answer to the question you have, please ask it to us using the FAQ form.
How do I become a community member?
As of September 1, 2015 you can register on-line at tlcacommunity.org or you may attend the Fall or Winter Registration night hosted by the Twin Lakes Community Association. Fall registration night falls on the first Tuesday in September and first Tuesday in January.
Membership is only $10.00 per household and runs August 1 to July 31.
Do I need a membership to participate in TLCA events such as the Community Garage Sale, Carnivals or Cabarets?
No you do not need to purchase a community membership to attend special events such as those named above. You do need a community membership to sign up and participate in any TLCA adult, youth or children’s programs offered by the association or other community associations programs (city-wide programs).
How do new programs get started in our Community?
First thing is that the Twin Lakes Community Association needs a willing volunteer to coordinate or teach the class. Once this is done, the TLCA will look for facilities to accommodate the program and will advertise it the next newsletter,
City of Regina Leisure Guide and on the website. If you are interested in getting a new class started whether it is an adult or youth program contact us to inquire.
How can I help or be more apart of the community without attending meetings regularly?
All you need to do is contact us and let us know how you would like to help if it’s as a casual volunteer for events in the community or for a specific position.
Who do I contact to rent the sign?
Contact us with your request.
Why are there so few children/youth programs offered in our community?
In order to offer new children or youth programs, the Twin Lakes Community Association needs volunteers to coordinate the class or program. Twin Lakes Community Association has open facilities but the volunteer teachers, instructors, and/or coordinators are needed before a program can even begin to be offered.
What happens if a class is cancelled due to low registration numbers?
In the event that Twin Lakes Community Association has to cancel a class or program a full refund will be provided to the participants.
